18-Hole golf courses in South Tyrol
This 18-hole golf course is located in St. Martin Passiria Valley, right in the vicinity of Meran. The challenging fairways with a total length of 5,755 meters have a terrace design. With their seven ponds and numerous sand traps, they require strategic playing.
The Dolomiti Golf Club Sarnonico– Par 73 – playable from April till November.
This alpine 18-hole course is situated on a high-altitude plateau - which can be reached from South Tyrol via the Gampen Pass. It features spaceous fairways and is quite demanding. Golfers of ever skill level - including advanced players - will find it challenging.
The St. Vigil Seis - Kastelruth / Castelrotto Golf Course – Par 69 – playable from March till November.
This golf course is located in the heart of the World Nature Heritage Site of the Dolomites. At an altitude of 850 meters above sea-level, it offers idyllic ponds, gorges, streams, and fascinating waterfalls. Long fairways alternate with easier stretches.
The Petersberg Golf Club – Par 69 – playable from mid-April till November.
This 18-hole golf course is situated on the high-altitude plateau of the Reggelberg, at an elevation of approx. 1,250 meters above sea-level. The fairways and greens are for the most part lined by old-growth trees. The course has a total length of about 5,400 meters. It is thus not especially long, but features numerous doglegs requiring strategic thinking.
9-Hole golf courses in South Tyrol
Lana Golf Club – Par 70 – playable from February till December.
The Lana Golfclub Lana is a pleasant 9-hole course located amidst fruit orchards and with a unobstructed view of the vast Etsch / Adige Valley. The links are relatively level and thus easily playable for golfers of all ages and skills. It is relatively long (2,793 meters - par 35) and requires power and precision even from skilled golfers.
The Karersee Golfclub – Par 70 – playable from May till October.
As far back as 1907, Austrian and English noblemen played here. This 9-hole course provides plenty of variety, and the unbelievably impressive mountain scenery of the Rose Garden exerts a magnetic pull. The fairways - which are often narrow and slanted - demand defensive playing and precision.
The Alta-Badia Golf Club – Par 71 – playable from June till October
Situated at 1,700 meters above sea-level, but with only 45 meters of height differential along its length, this golf course is located just a few kilometers from the center of Corvara. The links are nestled in the pristine landscape. Here in the heart of the Dolomites, the magnificent alpine atmosphere of this sun-drenched high-altitude plateau, golfers will find ideal conditions to indulge in their passion.
The Pusteria Valley Golfclub– Par 68 – playable from April till November.
Nestled at the foot of the Kronplatz / Plan de Corones and right next door to the Reipeting / Reischach Sport Park (only 2 km from Bruneck / Brunico), the Pusteria Valley Golf Club is a 9-hole, par 34 course with a total length of 2,800 meters. It is the first segment of what will ultimately be an 18-hole golf course.
